Knox Lake covers 495 acres of fishing water and has 12 miles of shoreline, and is noted for its populations of Miskellunge, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Yellow Perch, Catfish, and Rainbow Trout. There are 2 marinas on the lake featuring boat rentals and launch ramps.

Kokosing Lake is a 154 acre lake and it is noted for its Northern Pike, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, and Bullhead are the primary game fish in the lake.

Pine Hill Lakes are one mile from Heartland and offer great fishing tournaments on Saturdays.
