Heartland Country Resort began in 1994 when a teacher wanted to share her love of nature, animals, and the farm life with others. This original mission has been expanded to include providing individuals with a restful retreat in which to relax and recharge and couples, families, and groups with a peaceful place to connect and enjoy each others company or work outside the office.

We recognize the importance of the conservation, and wish to do our part to protect the environment. All of our buildings are equipped with geothermal heating and cooling units to make your stay comfortable while conserving energy. The quiet operation of our geothermal systems enables guests to enjoy the natural surroundings and sounds of nature.

The Lodge, Lodge Suite, and all cabin suites have undergone extensive renovations and are fully furnished for your comfort.
